Passion for Learning Series

We are excited to announce our Division Store’s Passion for Learning Class Series. This class series gives you the opportunity to earn credits toward plant purchases while picking up new gardening skills!

Class attendees receive credits for each class. Classes are one credit for hour-long, free classes, two credits for longer or fee required classes.

Credits are noted in the class list. Stamp cards track individual credits received and are used to receive discounts on your purchase. (Credit redemption is only valid at our Division Location).

  • Use one credit/stamp on the day of the class for a 10% discount on that day's purchase.
  • Save up your credits. 5 stamps = one time 30% discount.

Customers can register for Division classes by email, by phone (503-788-9000) or with a cashier.

Print out the March-May class list for the Division Store.

Email division-classes@portlandnursery.com to register for a class or for any questions.

NOTE: Stark Street classes do not qualify for credits/stamps.

Landscape Design Services at Division

Our Division store offers Landscape Design as a special service for gardeners.

Our designers will work with you to create a custom planting plan and plant list. Our designs are created in-office and rely on site measurements and photographs received by the customer at the initial consultation.

We focus on plant composition, and do not offer hardscape plans, such as decks, patios, retaining walls, etc.

To help us understand your gardening needs, please fill out this Landscape Questionnaire.

Some popular requests our designers have helped with include:

  • Welcoming entry gardens
  • Low maintenance front yard plantings with
       year round interest
  • Back yards and inviting patio plantings
  • Peaceful sanctuary gardens
  • Rain gardens, ecoroofs, and wildlife friendly gardens
  • Fabulous containers and hanging baskets for
       outdoor and indoor display
  • Aesthetically pleasing edible gardens

See our Landscaping Design Services Page for steps to obtaining a design!
