How many tray packs do I need?
All bedding plants have a height and width on the tag.
To figure trays needed:
Planting area divided by the width of the plant= number of plants needed. Divide this number by 6 for number of tray packs needed.
Which bedding plants are low maintenance?
Some bedding plants will perform beautifully without deadheading, minimal fertilizing and regular water. We recommend: Alyssum, Centaurea, Cosmos, Dusty Miller, Lobelia, Marigold, Nasturtium, Nigella, Portulacca, and Verbena.
What are some good cut flower choices?
Aster, Calendula, Centaurea, Cosmos, King Mix Helichrysum, Marigold, Rocket Snapdragons, Statice, Stock, and tall Zinnia.
Which bedding plants are drought tolerant?
Calendula, Carnation, Celosia, Cleome, Dusty Miller, Gazania, Lisianthus, Marigold, Portulaca, Sanvitalia, Verbena, and Zinnia 'Profusion'.
