At Portland Nursery, our mission is to grow gardeners. That mission extends beyond the physical boundaries of our nurseries and into the community around us. We believe that sharing resources and gardening knowledge helps us all to grow, learn, and thrive together.

Every year, we proudly support over 400 local schools, social services, gardening programs, and other nonprofit organizations with both sponsorships and in-kind donations.

We trust that by supporting these kinds of hands-on gardening programs, we can encourage a deep appreciation for the natural world, help shape a greener Portland, and preserve natural beauty for generations to come.
